A scholarship has been set up in memory of Melissa. It will be awarded to a senior at Franklin County High School, Rocky Mount, VA. The applicant can pick up an application from the guidance department at FCHS. Applicants are requred to fill out the application, get a teacher reference, and write an essay about the importance of seat belt use.
